A dank and juicy IPA using Golden Promise, wheat and Cara Munich malts in the mash for a sweetly smooth and hazy body. Bittered lightly with Magnum in the kettle followed by Citra T90 in both the whirlpool and in dry-hopping. We also added T90 Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Mosaic in dry hopping. The aroma/flavour is fruit-filled, dank and resinous, with plenty of tropical mango, passion fruit and pine.

Tap. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Hazed, deep gold. Swirl of white head. Nose has toffee malts. Privet leaf. Oily, leafy hop. Some baked citrus. Taste is clarty sweet, with a herbal, leafy bitterness. Medium body. Pretty oily. Low carbonation. Bit of a sappy, dank bitterness to finish. Not great, by Magic Rock’s usual standard.

Keg at the CP&K, 02/07/18. Hazy orange with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, grassy hops, mango, grapefruit, pine dusting. Taste comprises orange pith, grassy bite, toasted grains, papaya, mango flesh, sweet malts, grapefruit, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Decent clean drinking IPA with an old skool base.

Keg tan Mother Kelly's Well Street - Hackney. Pours murky orange-gold worth a small, foamy off-white head. Meaty citrus in the nose, some mango, orange. Medium sweet flavour with pale bread, a little chewy pine, more mango, juicy orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, lightly warming, some bitter pine and orange rind. Not bad. Fairly assertive.

Tap at beerlovers bar. Pours cloudy blonde. Médium white head. Smell is creamy, tropical, tad too fruity for myself perhaps. Taste is full, creamy, rather bitter, but still mild. Fruity, in perfect balance with the malty aftertaste. Sharp Carbo. Nice.

Keg @ Station. Pours a misty golden orange, thin white head. Aroma is dank, pencil rubber (thanks for that Mr Frog!), exotic juice. Taste is smooth, dank, exotic juice with a nice crisp bitterness. Tasty.
