Cask @ Pommelers Rest, London. Deeper golden with a small bubbly head. Has a sugary-malty aroma and taste. There’s some strength amongst its hoppy character.

Cask at Victoria Station. It pours clear amber with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, slightly grainy, peachy, apricot, resin and caramel. The taste is slick, oily, bitter, piney, resin, caramel, peach, apricot, grass and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth feel. Pretty well rounded and quaffable. Not bad.

Cask agt the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. An amber pour with a loose cream head; biscuity aroma; sweet floral taste, with some fresh herbal hops adding bitterness; then a dry biscuity finish. I rather liked this.

Cask @ JDW Shrewsbury Hotel. Pours amber, white head. Aroma is fruity, light caramel. Taste is smooth, vibrant yeasty fruits, vague caramel, hints of citrus, fairly sweet. More flavoursome than expected. Pretty good.
