Bottle. Dark brown bronze color. Aroma of raisin, ripe fruit, caramel, malt, plums and figs. Taste has bitter raisin, ripe fruit, caramel, malt, figs, bitter herbal hop and a boozy finish with a little iron. Round mouthfeel. Heavy boozy stuff, but also kinda nice.

Borefts X. I'm ten for ten! Day 1. Keg. Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, caramel and toffee, not that sweet. Plenty of spic here. Ripe fruits and a little brandy. Light dry spicy finish. Could use some time maybe but still good.

Borefts 2018. Day 2. Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft. how is the base beer listed with a higher ABV than the BA versions? Dark ruby cough syrup amber. Nose is cough syrup, fish guts, paprika, thick caramel, sugar. Taste is sweet cough syrup, basic, sweet, lots of alcohol, even more so than BA version, sweet, basic with too much cough syrup for me, def. preferred BA version. Cough syrup body.
