Handpull cask at the Parcel Yard, Leicester. Bright gold, clear with a thin white head and a bit of scummy lacing. Some light fruity honeyed notes in the aroma but there's also the harshness of slightly off butter. Not a bad taste, sweetish without being overly so. There's a bitterness in the aftertaste but I'm not really detecting much hop presence. A bit of caramel in the aftertaste. A substandard golden more than a lager.

Cask @ Stable Bar, Birmingham. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Smooth bready nose. Taste is smooth with lightly sweet pale malts, maybe the slightest whisper of honey. Didn’t know it was a honey beer at the time, which I guess demonstrates the amount of honey present. Unexciting, but perfectly nice blonde regardless.

Tried at the White Bear, Tewkesbury. Golden colour with a white head. Weakish hoppy citrus and honey aroma, and taste. Nice slight bitterness in the finish.

Cask at The Windsor Castle Inn during the RateBeer Black Country Bus Bash. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Doughy malt nose, perhaps a touch eggy. Light to medium sweet flavor with further doughy malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fresh and clean on the finish with basic doughy pale malts and mild balancing bitter straw. Nice little golden.

Hand-pulled pint in The Canalside Inn, Birmingham on 30 Aug 2013. A slight misty hue to my pale yellow pint with some good lacing given by the pure white head. Sweet malty nose, trace of honey maybe, light floral hop notes in there too. The taste followed the aroma fairly comprehensively: semi-sweet malty flavour with a mild hop finish with both floral and honey type flavours within the whole thing. Body wise it was bordering on thin, but it suited the alcohol and character of the brew, so no complaints.
