330ml bottle: BBD Jun 15. The third and last of the three criminal beers I am drinking tonight. Poured into a ’Good People’ badged glass from Birmingham, Alabama on 9th Nov 2014. Clear light amber to golden body, on top a white head. Not too sure what is ’mighty’ about this IPA, it seemed a bog standard blend that made me burp a lot! Initial malt lead with a dry hop finish, the nose very weak and bland. Not an unpleasant beer, just a bit of a disappointment for a 5.4% ABV IPA from a brewery I’ve enjoyed beers from in the past.

330ml bottle from B&M, Shrewsbury. Pours clear amber with medium bubbly head. Vinegar / chemical aroma. Taste is hugely disappointing given its ’Mighty IPA’ moniker. Soupy stale toffee and very little in the way of hops. Not good at all.

Bottle courtesy of dad, (cheers dad) consumed at Isobels, Friday 10th October 2014 shared with dad & Baz Pours light amber. Aroma a little pasteurised with toffee and hops combining but not that well. After the Ilkley Pale NZ this was something of a disappointment. Too much chewy toffee and little in the way of hops. Bottle. B&M. Clear, pale amber. Film of white head. Sweet, toffee malt. Some fruit. Taste is fairly acrid bitter. Burnt sweetness. A metallic edge, too. Rough, acidic mouthfeel. Finishes harsh, burnt bitter. Pretty grim.
