Keg @ Cock Tavern. Pours brown with a dark fruity aroma, taste is nothing like a Dubbel, slightly sour and acidic with spice, dark fruits and very mild earthy malts. Interesting if a little confused.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - London. Pours clear, amber-brown with a creamy, beige head. Certainly some herbs in the nose, dark bread, toasted sugars and caramel. Medium sweet flavor with notes of black pepper, ripe dark fruits, some leaves, earth, grapes, berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish, more dark read, ripe dark fruits, mellow Belgian yeast character, dark berries, slight warming alcohol. Fairly interesting. Decent overall.

Cock Tavern. Keg. Hazy deep red - amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is softish with fine caronation. Sweetish malts, touch of cream. Big bubblegum sweetness. Mellow orange tang. Little spice. Light dry finish. Esters and spice linger on. Pretty Belgian!

Hazed chestnut brown coloured pour with a small fleeting off white head. Aroma is green apple, tart, caramel and sharp acid. Flavour is rounded nutty malt with some tart berry. Some Belgian yeast phenols. Palate is tangy orange peel crisp palate with moderately high carbonation. A little too much green apple. Palate is sharp acidic green apple with moderately high carbonation. Somewhat lacking when it comes to to belgian dubbel.
