Riktigt trevlig.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Beer Merchants Tap (I think it was). Pours deep brown with a foamy, khaki head. Has some toasted brown bread character, very mild citric tang, some earthy hops, quite vague dry cocoa, leathery berries, burnt leaves. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. There's a hint of oxidation in the finish (pleasant enough), more aged leather, earth, faint cocoa, burnt toast. Pretty enjoyable overall.

330 ml bottle, bottled 05 Sep 17, from Musée Magritte Shop, Brussels.
Dark brown, reddish body, with a big, frothy, lacing, light beige head.
Aroma of grains, bread, toast, wheat, cocoa, some dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with more chocolate, subtle citric and piney hops.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium roasty, hoppy, a bit dry, a bit toasty, zesty, piney, grainy, with fruits.
Very nice. The age of the bottle (almost a year old!) isn't really noticeable, still round and diverse, with quite a lot of hops towards the finish and a smooth, grainy and chocolatey body. Not really a Witbier of course, more like a brown ale or something. Not among my favourite De la Sennes, but high quality as always.
Score: 7 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

Massive thanks to Tom for this one. Bottled 05SEP2017 – BBF 05SEP2018. Dark brown tanned head. Nose is chocolate paper, doughy, weak, low soapy, powdery chocolate. Taste is milk chocolate, doughy, herbal, powdery cacao, paper, thin soapy chocolate & papery messy body. Not a bad beer but there is nothing wit beer about it anymore and is slightly messy almost towards dull, liked it but not their best work for sure.
