Bottle split at L6, thanks to Dave, 05/09/18. Murky mahogany brown with a well presented beige covering. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, light roast, charr. Taste comprises dusty red berries, charr, chocolate biscuit, faint pine, cocoa sprinkle, dried fruits. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. Passable CDA ... over carbonation lets this one down.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Dave. Pours deep brown with a big, frothy khaki head. Lots of well toasted brown bread, earth, ain't cocoa, earth, toasted pine. Medium bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Finishes with notes of brown bread, toasted pine, hints of toffee, earthy hops. Not bad.

330 ml bottle, bottled 29 Mar 18, from Etre Gourmet.
Dark reddish-brown body, with a big, creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of grains, grass, earth, flowers, nuts, cocoa, some roast, citrus, some tropical fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with a bit more fruits, more chocolate, some honey.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, lingering piney, grainy, zesty, grassy, floral, medium roasty, citric, with some chocolate, some honey.

Nice one. A quite typical style example, with zesty hops and not too roasty malts. Quite a lot of grainy notes, that I really like, giving this some rustic character and the typical De la Senne finish, with crisp, piney notes. Not outstanding and I'm also not the biggest BIPA fan, but still smooth to drink.
