On tap. Pours black with light head. Aromas of rich dark chocolate and slick roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate syrup, soft greenish oak, vanilla unami soy, and oily roasted malts. Tasty. Very good.

16/I/21 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 24/XI/29 (2021-43)
Clear dark brown to black beer, big dense creamy solid beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, good roast, coffee, cocoa powder, charcoal, some higher esters, alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of dark chocolate, good roast, bitter, coffee, lots of alcohol, bit sweet, nice malty backbone. Aftertaste: more bitter dark chocolate, very intense, bit leathery, soft acidity, bit phenolic, almost peated touch, oak tannins, dry and roasted finish with a warming alcohol burn in the throat.

Pours clears black with a thin tan head. Decent Lacing. Aroma of burnt toffee, licorice. Slightly oily, tastes like bourbon, licorice, vanilla rum, extremely boozy. Booze lingers in the throat, dense burnt malt base, some cocoa. Good.
