330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brass colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sour-ish and slightly fruity aroma, hints of sauerkraut and rhubarb. Taste is sweet-and-sour fruity, notes of rhubarb, hints of gooseberry, minimally vinous and alcoholic overtones. Not overly complex.

22/X/17 - 33cl bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde (St. Niklaas) @ home - BB: 19/IV/20, batch 50 (2017-1813) Thanks to Marie for sharing the bottle!

Pretty cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive, but very little. Aroma: wild yeasts, bit infected, horse stable, sourish impression, lemon rind. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sourish start, quite some rhubarb, some tannins, little lemony, bitter touch. Aftertaste: some alcohol, acidity burning the throat, lemony, sour finish. Nice fruity touch from the rhubarb, just too sour IMHO.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Light haze. Aromas of rhubarb and light lactic sour. Taste is sour, tart rhubarb notes. Not sure what the knotweed is bringing to the party, but glad someone’s using it up! Nice tart, refreshing finish.

Bottle at home. It pours cloudy orange with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is quite soft, tangy rhubarb, stone fruits, melon, bread, earth, wood and toasty grain. The taste is dry, tart, funky, tart rhubarb, sour strawberry, lemon sherbet, bright acidity, damp leaves, straw and wood with a crisp and zingy finish. Medium body fine carbonation. Works rather well. Soft, fruity and quaffable.

Keg at BrewDog Soho - London. Pours hazy orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. The aroma has some lactic acid, melon, rhubarb, lemon. Light sweet flavour with assertive acidic bite, a little salty sweat, drops of lemon juice, understated bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Well balanced in the finish, with more tangy salty sweat, tangerine, rhubarb, tart berries, lent acidity. Very good stuff.
