Judith, just about the most beautiful girl name there is. Brewed with lime blossom for a soft floral taste. In addition, you will find a refreshing acidity, which can sometimes be confused with something spicy. Very exciting.

Thanks to mom & dad for the bottle! Hazy amber, stable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of cooked apple, pear, plum, jam, yeast, peanut, brioche, herbal tea. Taste has sweet red apple & pear in a yeasty, brioche-malty body, a bit nutty, spicy. Herbal hoppy finish, more fruity yeast, tea, perfumey somewhat, touch of alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Decent but in the end not as layered as expected.

2nd Feb 2019, bottle in Huis De Cluuse, Brugge. Nice beer, dull golden orange body, off-white crown. The nose was floral and malty, as was the interesting taste; no idea what Linden Blossom smells or tastes like but it's supposed to be in here somewhere!

The newest Brugs Bierinstituut product, a beer spiced with lindenblossom, thanks tderoeck for sharing. Thick and frothy, eggshell-yellowish white, membranous-lacing, stable, closed head over lightly misty, warm orange blonde beer with an almost amber tinge. Aroma of (linden or other) honey and only a faint dash of lindenblossom, banana, sweetbread, some – fortunately very light – DMS, bread pulp, sweet potato, ripe pear, hint of caramel. Fruity onset, sharply numbing carbonation (too much so even for a Belgian ale), peach and banana aspects, light sourish edge; malty and nutty, lightly caramelly malt sweet body with a thin toasty-bitterish edge at the back, flavoured with a subtle amount of sweet-and-herbal lindenblossom, but the latter gets drowned in residual sugars and a quite long-lasting, vaguely quinine-like, rooty and grassy hop bitterness, enhanced by some yeast bitterness. Not bad at all, thoroughly Belgian but well-brewed and sufficiently hopped; I only expected the lindenblossom to be more outspoken, given that this ingredient is advertised on the label in order to make this beer a bit ‘different’.
