I hate pina coladas.

17 August 2019. At Gents Bierfestival X. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & the crew! Clear yellow with a lasting, thin foamy, white head. Aroma of fresh pineapple, peach, lime, vanilla, coocnut, carambola. Taste is light frutiy sour, offering starfruit, lime & lemon, becoming sweetish with a strong pineapple note, some peach too & a touch of vanilla. Dryish, wheaty, yeasty, slightly floral hoppy finish, more pineapple, vague bitter stonefruit & vanilla-ish coconut. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Feels gimmicky but it's actually quite well executed.

On keg at 6DN. Appearance - pale yellow, thin head. Nose - light lemon sourness but generally not that sour. Taste - more of the same. Palate - creamy and light bodied. Dry, but could be more sour. Overall - not convinced I'd pick this out as a sour if it wasn't described as one in the first place.

Keg, served in an actually pineapple. It pours hazy golden (I think) with a foamy off-white head. The aroma is big and juicy, so much damn pineapple, ripe, tangy, tropical fruit juice, pina colada and yeha you guessed it more pineapple. The taste is tart, tangy, crazy juicy, shit loads of pineapple, touch of creamy coconut, fruit punch, pina colada, bit of sour candy, light lactic vibe and pineapple chunks with a soft, fruity finish. Medium body and fine, massaging carbonation. Hard to tell how much the serving vessel altered this, but it is damn refreshing and delicious. Not super sour, just crushable. Yum
