Can from Geers. Hazy amber-brown, big frothy, tan head. Aroma of butterscotch, milk chocolate, caramel sauce, Coca-Cola, green tea, almond, vanilla, raisin. Taste has sweet raisin & date in a fudge-like malt body, bit chocolatey with a herbal bitter edge, tad toasty too. Herbal hoppy finish, spicy, dried fruits & caramel, some liquorice, warming brandy-like alcohol. Medium to full body, oily texture, average carbonation. Top-notch example.

Cold, I am still thirsty. Smell-weak to medium, malty, coffee, smoke, interesting. Foam- malty, weak sweetness and then bitterness and roast, loads of malt. Head is medium, brown-white color. Appearance- simple can, looks nice, but no bonus. Hazy brown color, weak carbonation. From - snifter Taste - malty, caramel, acidic tones, then bitter tones, tarty, hops, smoked, roast. Bit weird, but definitely interesting, I will not buy this again, but can say I kind of enjoyed the ride. Alcohol is mixed in quite ok, but you can definitely feel it. Not exactly for me.

Keg at the Bermondsey taproom. Pours clear copper wiwith a g a small, creamy off-white head. Big malt character, plenty of toffee, dried semi-dark fruits, alcohol. Full bodied, oily and lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, with a little earthy bitterness, more dried berries and toffee. Sound!
