Sample @ 1st edition Brewver Belgian gathering, Mar 07, 2020. Thanks Erik.
Bottle 0034 of 3390.
Big gusher.

7/III/20 - 75cl bottle @ 1st Official Brewver Meeting / Belgian Beer Geek Winter Gathering (2020), BB: 17/V/23, bottled: 17/V/18 (2020-220) Thanks to Erik for sharing the bottle!
Clear red brown beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very oxidized, sweet, yeast, lots of CO2, malty, soft roast, some chocolate, caramel. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty start, bit sourish, bitter touch, bit metallic, rather unpleasant. Aftertaste: yeasty, some banana, raisins, bit sourish, fruity touch, alcohol notes, more acidic, meh. Not a big fan.

Bottle at Modeste 2017. Pours nearly black, small white head. Smell is roasty, creamy. Very distant chocolate notes. Taste is sharp, roasty, bit chocolate. Creamy, almost a tad metallic, but not exactly so. Burnt notes. nice.

Thanksl! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Modeste 2017. Dark brown to black, little tanned head. Nose is metallic, bit empty stale leaves, hint of gravy, almost wet dog, yeast. Taste is empty leaves, plastic, yeast, grainy, gravy. Body is yeasty, low gravy. Not my thing & didn’t remind me of something like Fuller's London Porter or other English Porters that come to mind. 24 bottles made.
