12 oz can. Pours a reddish brown with full head. Aromas of metallic brown sugar and toasted malts. Flavors of follow same with a little raisins and oak. A little hot. An OK Scotch Ale.

500ml bottle from Elizabeth Station. Ppurs a hazu brown with a beige head. Aroma is some barrel and scotch notes. Similar taste. A bit sour, smoky, and fruity. Quite dirty and harsh, not full-bodied. Meh.

500ml bottle from Tavour shared by my daughter. Nose is vanilla, Scotch, and caramel. Clear brown with a medium, heavy lacing, beige head. Flavor is moderately sweet, vanilla, and malted milk with a hint of scotch in the background.

Looks like mud, but with a thin head. Sweeter nose with tree fruits and a bit of phenol veering towards bubblegum. Has a sweet.

On tap at the Beer Junction, pours a filthy dark brown with an amber tinge and a small beige head - looks like shit. Aroma brings out lots of lightly smoky whiskey upfront, followed by dry toasted bready caramel. Flavour is heavy, with lots of lovely whiskey barrels, moderate peat, and medium-high sweet caramel. Wonderful mix of elements and lovely character from the barrels. Excellent.

Dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Full bodied. Full caramel malts, oak, light smoke, boozy, dark ripe fruit, a bit of molasses, and faint toast. Very enjoyable.
