Draught at Tap and Barrel: pours pinkish hibiscus tint with white head. Aroma is a hefty bit of hibiscus. Taste is dry farmhouse bitterness, with a good bit of hibiscus and a touch of honey.

Tap. Pours clear pink, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma îs grassy, floral, grains of paradise, Belgian yeast, black pepper. Flavor has a hint of sweetness, light plus tart, a tad herbal. Light body.

Bottle from a local ABC store in Maui. Honey & passion fruit Saison. 12oz tumbler. Pillowy, slow moving head. Light orange/grapefruit color. Smells of unidentifiable sharp fruit & malt. Nothing grand. Sharp, fruity, bitter, odd toasted grain. Flavor isn't something I'm after. Think long enough about it & it does give you some meh fermented floral honey botanicals, but also that plastic flavor you sometimes find in mead. Thin, softly carbed & a touch too boozy. Meh.

A pinkish saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with banana esters, cloves, light hibiscus, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity banana malt with cloves, light mineral notes, light tropical fruits, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

On tap at Man in the Moon. A bit hazy reddish with a medium pink head. A bit tart with berries, light yeast and some hints of spices. The body was fairly soft as was the bitterness.

Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Bright rosy red, minimal pink head. Tart perfumy floral nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Juicy with tropical flowers and mild berry tartness, notes of marzipan. Some crisp bread provides a backbone. Fairly low bitterness.

Rich pink and peach coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of flowers (hibiscus, of course) with some honey, coriander seed, grass, hay, wheat and some light sugars from fruit. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong rich honey and fruity flavours, but a touch overshadowed by the flowers of hibiscus and a good deal of grain and wheat, very nice and herbal. Aftertaste shows a lot of floral notes, some sweetness from fruits, but more from the honey along with some grain and coriander seed freshness that’s a bit clean at the end. Overall, a very nice and fresh beer with some good herbal flavours and a rich finish of honey and dryness. Great to sample, but not really a saison by any means, still a nice beer that’s different here on the islands! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased a few minutes earlier at KTA Super Store in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii Island, Hawaii on 09-August-2016 a few minutes after arriving from the mainland for US$7,99.

Deep copper. A light spice note throughout. Seems a little underdeveloped. Overly sweet malt profile. Needs some work.
