(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, fruity, sourish nose with caramel, black-currant, dark cherries, oak wood, red wine and a touch of balsamic vinegar. Malty, fruity, tart taste with notes of caramel, dark cherries, black-currant, oak wood, balsamic vinegar, red wine, pink grapefruit and a tart finish with a slight sweetness. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Complex and really tasty, with a fresh acidity and wood character. Great beer.

Shared 750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Very dark brown colour. beige head. Aroma of red wine, brettanomyces and oak, hints of red wine vinegar. The flavour is not too sweet, nor too sour, but has distinct notes of red wine, brett and oak. Well rounded and balanced, enjoyable.

Bottle at RateBeer 100 for 100. Brown with a dense beige head. Oaky upfront with berries and dried fruit, dark bread. Quite sweet and quite tart but really light bodied for its strength. Somewhat medicinal cherry, vinous notes, lots of oak again at the end. Curiously weak middle. Complex but the lack of richness meant its wares didn't seem fully set out.
