Gamme Grande Cuvée. Unlike typical porters, our Baltic Porter is brewed in the traditional style as a bottom-fermenting lager. The result is a luxuriously round, but robust, black beer with a mild bitterness. A special blend of roasted malts provides this porter with flavors and aromas of chocolate and coffee, and you’ll enjoy it’s subtle hints of cherry-smoked malt.

On tap at Muted Horn Berlin. Comes with a dark, nearly black color and a soft tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee beans, hints of dried fruit. Taste is suprisingly sweet. Some dired apricots, roasted malts and very nice coffee. Very well balanced.

Bottle, thanks to Yourilevesque. 2016 product. Opaque dark brown with smallish foamy tan head, woodsy mocha aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish mocha taste with wood flavor, and bit of sourness, smooth thickish body, long mocha finish. Very very smooth and well covered alcohol content. Great brew!

Bottle, aged since 2014. Pours opaque black, small creamy tan head, dissipates slowly to a nice residual ring and decent lacing. Aroma is molasses, anise, a bit woody, cocoa, tobacco, leather. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, hints of smoke along with loads of raw molasses and roasted malt. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty darn good.
