Gamme Grande Cuvée. Unlike typical porters, our Baltic Porter is brewed in the traditional style as a bottom-fermenting lager. The result is a luxuriously round, but robust, black beer with a mild bitterness. A special blend of roasted malts provides this porter with flavors and aromas of chocolate and coffee, and you’ll enjoy it’s subtle hints of cherry-smoked malt.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at NaparBCN. Nearly black colour. Sweetish aroma of malts and molasses. The molasses flavour was WAY too sweet for me - at least in a setting like this, a multiple beers tasting.

9th July 2016: on-tap at BierCaB, Barcelona with the RBESG guys: yet another beer a long way from home in Catalonia. More or less black with a beige head that soon became a wisp and collar before leaving all together I blame the lager base). Nose was all about malty molasses and the aromas they bring, the taste a sweet malty treat for those of us with a sweet tooth: liked it: pity about the head.

Tap at BierCaB. Almost black with short lasting beige head that leaves no trace. Toffee, coffee, milk chocolate, brown sugar. Very sweet and very light bitter. Over medium bodied with very soft carbonation. Lovely beer!
