A sweet malt and grapefruit nose, fluffy, well laced white head and an unfiltered golden body. Some nice mixed citrus and melon hop tastes at the outset, but they thin out a little too quickly. Sweet malt and a touch of soap round it out.

good hop aroma. Nice citrus hops, and some piney resins. Flavor is loaded with piney notes and a nice balance with the malt. a Nice IPA.

Slightly hazy with a light golden colour with a big warm cap. good carbonation, long retention and thick foamy lace. Grassy herbal hop aromas with hints of cilantro, sweet yeast and undertones of cereal caramel malts. A smooth dry mouthfeel. The flavours are nothing special, with a decent blend of bitterness, citrus, herb and the malts. All mild, but a nice blend of light herbal notes and sourness that reminds me of cilantro.

Bouteille 500ml. IPA acceptable.

On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. An unclear, orange colored beer with a dense, minimal sized off-white head. Peaches, butterscotch notes, resins, pine cones and a malty touch to the aroma. It’s bitter, full-bodied, soft and semi-sweet on the palate. Some diacetyl in the mouth too, with peaches and pine cones and some pale malts and a bready touch in the back. Long finish. Overall, a bit heavy on the diacetyl, else a decent brew. 150611

New Rating 2016 ----Calice 6.5% American IPA ----
A deep orange Amber with a malty biscuit like freshly cracked grains, and dank resinous hops. Fairly full bodied with huge malty grains like freshly cracked malts and resinous oily aromatic hops but that could just be someone smoking weed nearby. 3.5
----Original rating 2014 Calice IPA 6.5%----- A nice opaque reddish-copper with a fizzy off-white head. A clean sweet bitter ine and biscuit aroma. Medium bodied with a round carbonation giving it a pretty soft mouthfeel. The taste is bitter pine and earthy caramel malts. A clean but one dimensional IPA. Ap 4 Ar 7 p 4 t 7 o 12
