Stale malts, grass and hay. Next to no flavour, dry appleish finish. Awful, will not have again.

Clear medium yellow with a small white head. Light roasted malt and a background of even lighter floral hops. Lightly sweet throughout with only minimal bitterness. Light mouth with average carbonation and a crisp finish. OK.

Bottle: Poured a clear light golden color lager with a small white fizzy head with light retention and no lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes is quite bland. Taste is also dominated by light bland cereal notes. Body is about average for style. Not much to report here as this is a pretty standard light lager with maybe a tad more cereal notes than usual.

Originally rated October 2005. Purchased at the Dépanneur de la Rive in Cap-Rouge, Quebec. Written blonde lager on the label. Pours a slight hazy golden-amber colour with a medium head. Retention is poor and hardly any lacing. Very nice nose, with mostly caramel, butterscotch and bits of floral scents. Medium-bodied and oily mouthfeel. Sweet malt start with a mild hoppy finish. Notes of maple syrup in the aftertaste. Quite a pleasant blonde lager with some beautiful aromas.

Lightly hazed blonde with a very thin white head. Aroma of oxidized malt and light white chocolate. In mouth, a rather bland sweet blonde with no hops, boring and uninviting. Blahhhh....Bottle bought at Johanette.

Cloudy golden ale with abundant foam. Fruity, yeasty aroma, with a hint of lacquer. Light body, quite yeasty, peachy notes. A little fizzy.
