Brewskival 2017.

Thanks for organizing Kraddel! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ “Kraddel does USA tasting”. Hazy citrus golden, lovely creamy white head. Nose is weird citrus, extremely mineral, salty, apple sour, white grape vinegar. Taste is massive mineral, green apple, basic acidic white grape & green apple, low puckering, massively mineral / salty. Body is puckering apple juice sour. Sounds quite interesting given the white grape juice addition, it is a quite simple kettle sour & hugely mineral / salty. Not but not great either for me.

Draft at Trillium on the Greenway. On the noise it’s sour grain, orange peel, and a large amount of salt. The aroma is inviting. From the aroma I was eager to take a sip.
The orange peel cuts through the salt but really the salt wins. So much salt it reminds me of swimming in the ocean and inadvertently swelling some ocean water. Mouthfeel is soft with a high saline texture. Borderline to much salt. But it is exactly what the Brewers say it is.

Bottle shared in Maine - thanks to Duke. Gusher! Pours hazy gold with a fine, creamy white head. The aroma has a touch of peach, lemon, pithy grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with some lemony acidity, a little woody dryness, some jammy peach, a bit of pith. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with further lemony tartness, moderate acidity, faint plastic, some hay. Not bad overall.

Pours hazy apricot into a tulip. Crackling head quickly recedes to nothing. Apricot aromas. Soft with salty, tart apricot and citrus upfront turning to mild salty sourdough before an abrupt finish that gradually turns to marshmallow.
