Draft - Sour plum and a touch of nail polish. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Soured plum and that touch of nail polish again.

Hazy light brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have some tart vinegar and dry woodiness. Pleasantly tangy. Certainly fruity but I can't specifically identify it as pear. It's similar to Granny Smith apple.

Taste comprises prickly green berry, tarte peach, lemon rind, straw, funk, damp hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic whisper. Decent well balanced sour.

Draft glass @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. 2016 Vintage. Dark hazy orange amber, tiny white head. Nose is a mess, watery vinegar, rotting wood, rotting fruit cherry & smell is better than the taste. Spoiled rotting overly watery oak, roasted chocolate, real mess, spoiled dirty water, vinegar finish which clashes, rotting oak, really unpleasant mess,… It sounded good but I didn’t not get the pear which is sadly a too subtle fruit for this I fear or you need a lot of it but this was just awful, watery, spoiled, rotting, mix of flavours,… In general I like Loverbeer but this is the second beer from them that I try that I just hated.
