Bottle from Craft Beer Cellar, New Orleans. Aroma is strong Brett funk with fruits, hay, peach, apricot, grain, bit tart, citrus, and a touch of hops. Nicely funky and dry with sour and mild sweet tones. Medium body. Quality Brett funk.

750ML. $9.99 at the local Co-Op. Great cork pop, the pour is just like orval and the head keeps growing in the glass even 2-3 minutes after pouring. It’s about 4 fingers and growing. Smell, delightful. Oats, Pineapple, Funky brett and a HF Dorothy like smell. Taste is candied sugar, Saison dupont yeast and Orval mash bill. Really chewy, funky, cheese and leather like all in the same taste. Aroma is oatmeal, apples, tangerine and wood. This is fantastic. A cheaper Orval. Want to buy more.

Pours slightly hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet marshmallow, hay and brett aromas. Soft with lemon, hay, marshmallow and funk. This is nice.

Draught, Spring 2015 and again 11/19/15, at CBC.
Copper-golden beer has a light to moderate haziness to it and a strong white head atop.
Clear, crisp, delicate brett in the nose, seemingly tart and quite floral/perfumey with very light tropical fruits and subtle spiciness on the end. Malts stay out of the way, for the most part.
Tart, tightly carbonated, with all sorts of fruitiness created by the brett. Band-aid and leather join the mix, as well, lightly. Medium to medium-light body does border on night quite balancing all of the tartness, but I think it gets there. Dry, crackery malts with a little bit of graininess to them. With warming, it softens and sweetens some, while the tropical fruit and funk increase. Another good one from CBC. It’s really a treat to have such a reliably awesome brewery nearby.

64 oz. growler pour at Julio’s Liquor Brewfest. Aroma is a substantial amount of Bretty yeast with a mild floral note. Hints of cow manure.
No conspiracy here; the Brett is alive and kicking in this brew! Funky Brett all the way until the end of the sip where some hop bitterness comes in. Floral and pine hops help cut the Bretty yeast. The body is medium plus with a good grain bill with that’s noticeable. I really enjoy how the hops cuts throughout he Brett. Highly drinkable and only available at the brewpub, keg or growler sale.

GBBF Day 4. Cask. Lightly hazy yellow - gold beer, no head. Palate is light and semi dry with modest fine carbonation. Mellow brett and then lemon that is more tangy than sour. Brett turns a little savoury and then a dash of sourish orange. Little wet wood. Nice mild gueuze vibe here. Not too sour either - nice job.

Cask at gbbf 2015 day 4. Aroma is lovely funky bouquet, pineapple, juicy fruit, plastic, light tartness. Flavour is spicy citrus, funk, pineapple, tangy five alive. Palate us doughy grains with a drying finish, could do with note carbonation really good.

Cask at GBBF 2015. Manure aroma lemon. No condition. Definitely manure. OK if weird and no where near the 3 Fontainen I had next to it.
