33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange to brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight caramelish. Dry, toasted and slight caramelish. Bitter, toasted and slight fruity. Mellow fruity and caramelish malty. Dry far finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy amber brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, caramel, fruity and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. 121116

Bottle from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Hazy mahogany coloured pour with a beige head. Aromas of cherries, toffee apple, sherry, caramel, spice, toffee. Rich, warming flavours of dates, caramel, red fruit, raisin, oak, toffee. Pleasant throat caressing alcohol burn. Booze fueled finish. Very nice indeed.

Tasted from the tap on the 02/10/2016. Dark brown colour with medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, oak wood and sherry. Taste is sherry, bread, roasted bread and dark fruits. Really nice! Next one please!

Bottle thanks to Rich @ MTG II tasting, at Richโs Welfare Pad. Pours deep ruby. Aroma is oloroso. Taste is smooth dark fruits with a confident, well integrated oloroso influence. Nice yeasty sweetness with a brief sour nod.

Tap@The Rake, London (28/08/2016) - dark brown pour with a reddish hue, topped with a decent beige head. Sweet malty with sweet notes of caramel, treacle, some nice dried fruity notes, good hoppy backing, solid barrel ageing qualities in evidence, the sherry sweetness the most prominent, pretty warming boozy finish. Nice, but glad I just got a 1/3 of this on a heavy ticking afternoon/evening :)

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Matteo. Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth creamy malts. An intensity to the tangy rich fruits here - into mild sourness. A little sweeter sherry provides a nice counterpoint. Light semi dry finish. Nice.
