It is a really original IPA, not a classic and a perfect wedding between the sourness, the hop and a side of ginger, fruity, good one, 02.09.17, finding it in one grocery shop, next to Cornavin station closed nowadays, drinking it at Paris, Mercure, gare de Lyon.

Bouteille 33cl de la Cave à Bières, Yverdon. BB 07/2017.

Big thanks! 330 ml. bottle sampled. Brewed may 2016. Hazy orange, big white bubbles. Great mix of over fruitiness and interesting brett funk, brett is clearly there but no overly so, anymore would have ruined this beer since it is a weird packaged type of brett. Nose is nice mellow standard brett funk with clear big mandarin. Taste is tangerines, mandarin, mango, almost fruit candy with lovely complimentary weird brett barn funk, almost mineral funk in the finish,… Dry funk finish, oily big fruit solid body upfront. Really nice beer, the price point was apparently very ridiculous.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, malt, spices, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, brettanomyces, spices, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

10th May 2017
Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a fine minerally crispness., Light malts, thin creamy sweetness. Nice light savoury brett. Mild sweet floralness. Very mild fresh orange. Spritzy lemon. Light finish brings tangerine and pine. Nice, so many brett IPAs fall short for me, but this one works well.
