We love Australian Galaxy hops & have been really happy with their quality lately. That’s why we decided to brew our original 100% Galaxy beer, Moonage Daydream. This pale ale is super crushable with a light, crackery malt character & pungent mango and pine aromas from the hops. This one will make you freak out! Drink more pale ale!

Can via the source. It pours cloudy very pale greenish - gold with a thick, foamy head. The aroma is prickly, spicy, green, dank, pine needles, tropical vibes, fresh mango, nectarine, twist of citrus and orange gummy bears. The taste is firmly dry, nice hit it green bitterness which lingers, weedy, dank, spicy, pine needles, minerality, fresh mango, apricot, peach, pithy citrus, grapefruit and cracker with a green, dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Lovely stuff. Green, fruity and moreish. Moreish.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with tropical fruits, light resinous hops, light dank notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, tropical fruit, citrus, very nice. On tap at brewery.

Tap at the brewery. Clouded yellow coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is super juicy, juice fruit gum, Mellon, hint of mint, pez sweets. Flavour is composed of doughy bready grains, spicy hot, melon, apricot, lemon rind, juicy hop. Palate frothy carbonation, doughy, medium light, powdery finish. Spicy slightly dank hop lingers.

Super hazy golden orange. Creamy head fades fast. Smells like the freshest fruit. So fruity and juicy and full of pineapple and mango. So the 100% galaxy does make this a bit to medicinal but fruit up front and cough drop finish.

Sampled at Cellarmaker. Aroma is a nice display of Galaxy hop. Grassy, grapefruity and mango like. The flavor is mildly hoppy, nice grassyness up front, frutiy in the center with grapefruit and mango light again, maybe peach. Bitterness lingers. Body is crisp and refreshing with light pine hints in the back end.

On tap at Lupulo. Aroma has a medium cracker malt and biscuit notes. Moderate hop character with lots of tropical fruit, a bit of grapefruit and pineapple, and some melon notes. Puts a cloudy, pale yellow gold work a medium sized, white head that recedes steadily to the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is really nice with a light sweetness, and some cracker and biscuit flavor. Medium bitterness, but soft instead of harsh. Lots of juicy hop flavor work citrus, tropical fruit and melon. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice beer with lots of hop flavor and aroma. Nice, balanced malt notes and really soft water character.

Cellarmaker Moonage Daydream - The color is a pale gold, light honey. It’s quite cloudy, which makes the color look dull, flat. The head is white and composed of tiny bubbles. It’s somewhat vigorous. Moderate lacing, decently sticky. Fades after a minute or two. The aroma is fairly mild. Not a ton of hops though more comes out as it warms. Solid tropical flavors. Mango, passionfruit, kiwi. The malt is a bit more forward than usual. Just a fresh base malt flavor with some spice. Similar taste. I think they were shooting for easy to drink. It’s mildly bitter. Some nice hop flavor. Similar to the smell with a bunch of fruit. Quite dry. Neutral yeasty flavor. Aftertaste is a touch grassy. Light mouthfeel. Kinda fizzy at least relative to other Cellarmaker offerings. A touch of hop oiliness. Solid pale. Easy to drink.
