German styles are especially fun to experiment with because it feels so verboten. Despite its hefty size, this beer is remarkably clean, crisp, and balanced. We brewed this beer with traditional German lager malt, and loaded up the whirlpool with floral German hops and aromatic, fresh lime zest. We then fermented it a low temperature, before dry hopping with an exciting blend of German and American hops, to create an overall hop profile that exhibits interesting characteristics of lemon and orange. We then added a little extra lime, before cold conditioning the beer for several weeks to give the beer a bright refreshing finish.

Sampled draft @ Kufle i Kapsle. Clear orange, lacing, collapsing white head. Nose is overly milky, sweet soap, sugar, far too sweet, spoiled white grape. Weirdly oily sweet, huge milky yeast, oily, sugar,..; Body is all white sugar,.. Quite a miss. Expected more.

Keg at a Fourpure Tap, Saturday 8th April 2017 in the company of Bruno, Yogi, Lynn, Barry and Alec Hazy mid amber with a white head. Juicy with lime zest and lemon combining to offer up a real citrus, fruity zip. A little grassy on the aroma. Nice refreshing beer which drinks very easily for the abv. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Draught at Taphouse. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with limes, an odd cinnamon note, spicy notes, pale malts. Taste is light bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry and bitter with citrus fruits and limes. Odd, not for me.
