DESCRIPTION

This is Bandit. A Gluten Free Pale Ale. We took our beloved Beatnik and stole the gluten out. It’s a light, refreshing pale. Still fruity, still floral. Loads of flavour, just gluten free.

Goes well with high revs and breeze in your hair.

This is Sam. He’s a Gipsy Hill co-founder. He likes long and windy roads.

Draft @ Duke of Wellington, Spitalfields/London. Slightly cloudy yellow with an ok white head. Aroma of tangerines and lemons. Taste of lemons, tangerines, grains and zest. Low to medium bitterness. Strong carbonation. Very watery. Well, this is kind of ok but also boring as can be.

[33cl can at a Wahacca in London.] An amber pour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma; fruity taste with a tangy bitterness. Went well with the Mexican food.

Draft at the Tap and Tandoor, Solihull. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, somewhat light, mineral, light lemon citrus, hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Keg draught at Balham Bowls Club, Balham. Light to mid-gold, clear with a ring of white head. Aroma holds loads of pink grapefruit, some lemon zest. Taste is sugary sweet, while keeping the pink grapefruit character. Hoppy bitterness in the finish. Light body with carbonation on the heavy side. A nice sessionable pale.
