PINTA FarmHouse 13,1° - aromatic and session beer with dry finish and body which comes from wheat malt. We are using special Wallonian Farmhouse yeast from The Yeast Bay in California, USA and that is why "calm" beer gets fruit, fresh twist in taste and aroma. We use only American hops - Citra®, Cascade, Centennial and Mosaic™ to intensify fruity character which comes from yeast. It is finished with some earthy and spicy notes and also dry, tart aftertaste. PINTA FarmHouse! - sounds like an adventure!

Ingredients: water; Weyermann® barley and wheat malts: pilsner, Vienna, wheat; hops (USA): Citra®, Cascade, Centennial and Mosaic™; yeast: The Yeast Bay Wallonian Farmhouse.

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, white froth. Slightly floral, perfumy aroma, some pale malt and fruit. Fruity flavour with a light funky twist. Sweet and light malty. Still a little too perfumy.

Bottle, 5.0%. Mild cream aroma. Cloudy golden colour. OK stable chalk white head. The flavour is creamy and bready with a citric hint. Not lemony, but OK refreshing, more like orange juice, I guess. Not funky, but nicely citric and refreshing.

Bottle @ The Hucul Rage, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with mild hoppy notes. Sweetish, malty and estery flavour with a idic and fruity notes and touches of cheese. Mildly acidic,ma little funky and salty aftertaste with estery hints. Not bad but rather tame.

Bottle, 0.50l. Pours cloudy pale golden color with thin creamy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of citrus, pine, wheat, yeast and a bit of sweat. Taste starts light sweet grainy, following is citrussy, fruity, herbal and mild funky, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Very good summer refreshment...

Pours whitish hazy, decent white head that is leaving some nice lacings. Aroma is very grassy, lots of hops used here, raw and freshly cut grass. Not getting any farmhouse characters though, no horse saddle, no belgian yeast, no funk. Taste is hoppy and green. Feels super grassy, probably from the herbal hops used. Overall, drinks OK, bitter and grassy IPA rather than anything farmhouse related. Or well, maybe if you hunk about farmhouse beer as something coming from grasslands, then yes, maybe they are trying to make a point.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Hazy citrus golden, creamy white head. Nose is nice tropical litchi, mango, zest hop. Taste is cheesy, low brett, zest, litchi, brett is lightly dirty but overall very nice. Body is cheese & some brett. Very solid stuff.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a tiny, white head. Slightly buttery nose, nothing much else. Medium body, sweet malts, a very slight edge of funk and then a bitter, hoppy finish. More APA than Farmhouse. 271216
