Aus der Flasche am 2016-07 getrunken. Hier stehen die Gewürze viel deutlicher im Vordergrund. Nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht ganz einfach trinkbar. Daher eher ein spannendes Bier.

German Gose shared by tderoeck at 77ships’s place, cheers! Thick, frothy, egg-white head over an initially practically clear orange blonde beer with amberish hue, darker than average for the style. Aroma of hard butterscotch candy, hand soap, salted lemons, rosewater, grapefruit zest, hibiscus tea, plastic. Fruity onset but relatively clean in ’esteriness’, dried peach, orange zest and starfruit notes, fizzy carbo, salty Sauerkraut touch as is to be expected, butterscotch-like maltiness, soapy, bit plastic-like somewhere, vague toasted edge, drying tartness with a tea-ish, herbal bitterishness in the end. A bit too many clashing flavours here to my taste, I prefer a more classically conceived Gose.

Thank you tderoeck! Late night tasting @ home. 330 ml. bottle sampled. Dark orange red fruit amber, creamy tanned head. Too big head when poring. Overripe sweet spoiled red fruit & rotting strawberry nose. Taste is spoiled raspberry flat red fruit, band-aid, overly big with thick malty spoiled red fruit & far too carbonated. Not sure as to what happened here.

Pours murky dark orange with a dense and foamy head. The aroma is lightly fruity, herbal, with evident rosemary. The taste veers to extremes. Frankly it feels like a tart Gose with half a bottle of rosemary dropped into it. Finish trends bitter with very herbal aftertaste. Left me with a stomach ache. Did not enjoy.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Na’ama’s place. Thanks Vova. Amber with a beige head. Aroma of lots of rosemary, herbal, spicy, yeast. Sweetish and slightly tart flavor, spicy, with rosemary, malt, yeast, light salty note and light bitterness. Over-carbonated. Too sweetish and spicy.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Heidenpeters / Lervig Norsk Gose ].Clear medium amber - red orange color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel - honey, spicy rosemary, rhubarb. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sour - tart rhubarb, rosemary, herbs, spicy, salty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Quit odd and unbalanced IMO. [20161208] 5-3-5-3-8
