Can: Poured an amber color lager with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some nice cereal notes and light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of caramelized notes and nice cereal notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid lager with good drinkability and no off-balance flavours.

Olfactif aux accents céréaliers avec esters de cerises et houblons herbacés. Liquide ambré foncé aux reflets roux, très limpide, avec une petite mousse crémeuse qui se maintient moyennement. En bouche, ce sont les céréales grillées, les noisettes douces et un léger caramel qui s’annoncent en entrée. Les houblons s’avèrent plutôt épicés avec des accents poivrés en arrière-bouche. L’amertume est cependant assez faible. Le corps est moyen et doux, la carbonatation également moyenne. Assez moyen dans l’ensemble. Elle manque de punch. Peut-être la fraicheur est-elle en cause. La date d’embouteillage du 1er février 2020 y était apposée. Je l’ai pourtant achetée comme nouvel arrivage le 17 décembre 2020. O: 6.421 V: 3.514 G: 6.988 B: 3.2 O: 15.25 T: 35.373

Aroma of more peaches and oranges. Has some head and a foggy gold body. Flavour is crisp orange with grain hints. Medium on the mouth. It’s just okay again, a common them at this place it seems.

On tap at the brewpub. Drak 5.6% a dark nutty brown pour with a filmy off-white head. Soft cocoa and mild caramel aroma - nice. Smooth bodied with a med-full body. The taste is caramel + coco, toasted grains, a bit of tangy caramel, lightly bready. A solid beer.

Dégustée en fût sur place. De couleur ambrée-orangée et voilée. Nez de grains de malt sucrés, de caramel doux, léger de miel avec des notes rôties, léger de houblon floral aux notes hebreuses ainsi que des petites notes fruitées (agrumes, pêche et poire). Moyennement ronde en bouche et moyennement pétillante avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Faibles notes fruitées (agrumes, petites traces de poires) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi assez rapidement d’un goût de grains de malt avec un goût de caramel doux et des notes de miel puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon floral avec quelques notes épicées (poivre doux). Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, légèrement amer de houblon floral avec des traces fruitées (agrumes). (été 2006)

On tap at L'Am�re � Boire, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is pretty bland, with bready malts and light herbal notes. Flavour is a bit fruity, with dry bready malts. Slightly more exciting than the Vollbier, with the added fruitiness. Decent, but still bland.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark orange to hazlenut brown. Off-white head. Aroma is light roasted malty and light breadish. Medium bitter. Light caramelish and subdued sweetness. Ends malty and light bitter.

Draught, 5.8% at the brewpub. Subtle fruity aroma. Almost clear amber colour. Mild spicy flavour. Mild carbonation, but nice and refreshing.

Golden copper with a thin off white head., veering on oily. Sweet caramel and light vanilla notes. In mouth, a sweet malt with a bit of maple, not very hoppy, with a lightluy oily mouthfeel. A bit thin. On tap, August 5, 2006.
