Bottle from Tanakaya. Fruity, chocolate cookie aroma, cinammon, brown sugar. Dark orange-brown with a tall, fine, fluffy head. Sweet and malty, with dried fruits, chocolate, cookies, rich, savory malt, pears, and something like rum or jenever too. Alcohol bites a bit. Also a bit of a ornge-chocolate tang and some bitter hops in the finish. Reasonably complex and well balanced.

Served on draft at Mekong in Richmond, VA. Pours a clear copper color with a large creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Fruity aroma with notes of berries, apples, some maple notes and a bit of paint thinner. The taste is green apples, berries, maple, green bananas, brown sugar and a bit of a chemical note. Medium bodied. Weird, odd and disjointed.
