Something a bit different for Christmas… A golden, refreshing ale with a really fresh, hoppy nose. More hops come through on the finish with herbal/lemony notes. A tasty ale – Yule be coming back for more!

9/1/2025. Cask at Hamilton Hall, Liverpool St Station. Pours clear bright amber with a lasting frothy off-white head. Decent pour. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, floral, caramel, biscuit, malt. Nicely balanced sweetness and bitterness, with some good hoppy bitterness to finish. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Enjoyable pint.

7th December 2022, The Crown Rivers, terminal 5 Heathrow Airport. Hand-pulled half-pint. Clear and clean golden body, white head. Slight citrus nose and taste, not very Christmassy, more hops than malts.

Cask @ Bull & Stirrup, Chester. Golden with a small creamy head. Hoppy and easy drinking with a smooth soft texture, but certainly not thin. Fairly sweet tasting with a small bitter finish.

50cl bottle from Spar, Rhos on Sea. Appearance - golden with nicely proportioned head. Nose - dried fruit probably oranges. Some bread notes too. So fruit loaf really. Taste - crystalised lemon pith with some more cake. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall -interesting beer that grows on you as you go down the glass.

Bottled. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity nose. Mid sweet, medium bodied. Sweaty spicy hops with plenty of hay. Really rich on English hops. Long bitter finish. Good drinkability.
