Barley, wheat and rye give Feelgood a complex dry body, but the star of the show is its unrestrained use of zingy hops offering fruit, citrus and resin to the nose and palate. We make it all the time. You can find it at select grocery stores, and LCBOs as Snake Oil IPA. Want to know why? This

Dense white head with solid lacing. Body is a clear light straw. Nose is fresh squeezed citrus hoppiness with pine resin and sweet bready malt. All of the above in the taste profile with a solid hoppy aftertaste and a touch of soapiness. Solid astringency.

Can under Snake Oil IPA. Pours a hazy, golden colour with a big off-white head, frothy, somewhat creamy, with very good retention, creamy-bubbly lacing and beautiful carbonation. Fresh hoppy aromas of citrus with the grapefruit and orange notes. Some grassiness. The mouthfeel is slick with some dryness. Good bitterness with the hops that are well-balanced between the grass and citrus. Goes down quite nicely. A great local straight-up stronger IPA.

This IPA poured a cloudy medium yellow with a big, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include lemon/pineapple citrus, a little grass and hay. All hops to the nose. First swig was smooth and somewhat creamy. Flavours of citrus overpowering everything else. Finish is lemony bitter til the end.

Keg at Union 613, Ottawa. Cloudy deep golden, small head. Generous dank grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Dominated by pink grapefruit and passionfruit. Long bitter finish. A well crafted modern IPA.

A hazed blonde IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, biscuit malt with perfumy floral hops, resinous and smooth. In mouth, a nice bscuit malt with loads of resinous floral hops, citrus pulp, nice and classic. On tap at Wellington Gastropub.
