Light orange color and fruity aromas. Its dry-hopping process results in touches of fruit such as mango, pineapple, peach and litchi. Its low contents of alcohol increases the bitterness perception of its taste. Low degree of alcohol but large contents of Cryo Hops Ekuanot in the whirlpool and for dry-hopping. Small but angry… like a chihuahua!

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, some strawberry jam and mild passion fruity elements. Flavour is sweet fruits, some mild tartish edge from passion fruity elements and also has some herbal tones to it. Smooth, and actually quite a nice body to it, considering the rather low ABV.

Bottle picked up from Etre Gourmet webshop, Belgium and consumed at home Saturday 25th April 2020 at home Attenkirchen on another wonderful glorious day, once again wall to wall sunshine, day 39 of lockdown :-(. Tonight is homemade burger night, we have Smoked Chicken Cobb Burger, we're on a Skype multi person call with Bob, Sambo, Byron, Neil, Sharon, Bill, Julia etc, etc. Pours hazy gold edging towards orange with a white head. Sone citrus on the nose along with lemon tea. In the mouth, really easy drinking, nice crisp bite, a little malty but overall, fruity with citrus (mostly lemon) good liw abv beer.

Bottle shared at home (24/02/2020) sourced from Beergium - hazy orange with a white head. Fruity but rather non descript, has some vague citrus fruit but a bit messy, light to medium body, pretty subdued bitter finish. Not a fan.

Classically interpreted session IPA by Atrium, the enthusiastic Walloon brewery everybody is probably following more closely now that they made it into this very site's yearly list of best new breweries (not that this means a whole lot, if you ask me, but anyway...). Thick and uneven-bubbled yet very stable, slightly lacing, off-white, bit irregularly edged head resting atop a completely and immediately misty, orange- to somewhat ochre-ish tinged, peach blonde beer with fine strings of sparkling rising up here and there. Aroma of completely dried out mandarin peel, dried dill, bread crust, jute bags, potato wedges fried in hot peanut oil, hints of dried apricot, field flowers, wormwood leaves, very vague toasted shallot and a background whiff of pond water. Spritzy onset, fruity and a tad more estery than I expect from the style, hinting at green banana, hard pear and unripe peach, restrained in sweetness, with lively, minerally carbonation; supple, bread-crusty and somewhat cracker-like maltiness, drenched in a 'dried herbes de Provençe'-like hoppiness, with only faded citric notes but still quite some spiciness and drying bitterness, though restraining itself a bit in that latter aspect so that the maltiness comes through soft and juicy. Some yeasty, rainwater-like minerally and even slightly metallic aspects lurk behind the curtains - but overall, the finish remains pleasant and quenching. At now half a year of age, I assume it has already lost considerable brightness so I will not be too severe on the fact that the hops need to be more pungent and colourful in this style - maybe they were when the beer was a week old, I don't know. In the form that it has reached me, and I say this with the necessary reservation, it is a pleasant, spicy but perhaps somewhat thin and overly yeasty 'Belgian session IPA', with quite some emphasis on 'Belgian'. Somehow this beer better fits the much more 'commercial' trend towards low alcohol Belgian ales, like Vedett Session IPA or Gouden Carolus U.L.T.R.A., rather than the true, international (or should I say 'American') session IPA idiom, but as said, I make a reservation on this and will certainly revisit it when I encounter it in fresher conditions.

Helder levendig geel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van citrus, tropisch fruit en ananas. Is iets te waterig in de mond.

33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a big beige head. Aroma of orange fruits, tangerine. Taste of dry resinous bitter hops, caramel, spruce, long bitter finish.
