12oz can from my brother. Black pour with a thin beige head which fades to ring. Aroma is sweet, chocolatey, with minor bourbon notes. Taste brings more chocolate, sweet, minor bourbon presence. A bit sweet and not overly strong. Approachable. Follow on: much better as it warms. Sweetness fades, bourbon picks up. Still chocolatey AF.

Bottle share at RBBWG 2017, thanks for sharing. Bottle 078 batch # 001.

Huge, towering dark-greige head over virtually black beer. Caramel & hops’ nose, mint. Sweet, vanilla, Bourbon, sharp alcoholic peak, as from gin. Roasted chocolate in the background. Very well-bodied, alcoholwarming. Likeable if nothing too complex.

Taste is sweet basic warming herbal cough syrup, candy, sgar, boozy, bourbon, chocolate, molasses. Body is low carbonation, molasses, sugar. Nice beer, a bit too simple and basic but very pleasant to drink all the same.

Sampled @ Extreme Beer Fest, 4 Feb, 17. Pitch black color, no head. Aroma of molasses, rich chocolate, light bourbon, and oak.

Smooth, fuller bodied and richly sweet but it retains an easy drinkability. The bourbon cuts the base stout sweetness and really adds complexity. Alcohol is covered well. Very enjoyable.
