Little cloudy amber to red brown beer, big irregular creamy solid yellow head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit malty, some chlorine, lots of tropical fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, some caramel malts, sweet, bit resinous, some tropical fruits. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, hoppy, dry, some caramel malts, citrus touch, bit chemical, resinous, nice beer!

Bottle Thnx to Ships. Pours unclear, very dark amber. Nice stable white head. Smell is clean, bitter, some ambermalty crunch. Taste is bitter, very full and mildly aromatic, bready malts indeed ! Wouldn’t name bread as an ingrediënt when tasted blind, it more of an intense ambermalty flavor, which I love. very intense. tastes like a not-so-aromatic Imperial IPA, but one I do truly love. I was not surprised to find out that the base of this is babylone, my favorite BBP beer. This one is one I think they should release as a standard, as it would be my new favorite for sure. Very good, thick mouthfeel. The ABV is way lower than i had thought it’d be.

Draft glass @ Brussels Beer Project. Dark amber, patchy creamy tanned head. Nose is big malty, caramel, sugar, faint maple, very bready, sweet & very nice. Taste is big bread, bitter bread crust & kitchen spices, quite bread bitter in a good way, thick & more bread like than Babylone for me, low maple, raisin,... Quite solid body, lingering bitter. Far better than the regular Babylone, surprisingly nice beer.

Draft @ BBP.

F: huge, light tan, long lasting. C: dark coppery to brown, hazy, opaque. A: malt, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, light tangerine, orange, hint of bread. T: malt, almost all tropical fruits from aroma are hidden, caramel, hint of orange, some toast, I like the Babylone and this beer is not worse, medium to full body, low to medium carbonation, very nice, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from the brewery.
