We heard it over and over again, that there is no reason for a craft brewery to brew a regular lager. We believed however, that a simple but high quality beer has its place even in the most extreme of craftbeer pubs. Our pils is of the German style, lighter in colour and maltiness than a Czech example would be. We wouldn’t be Fehér Nyúl if we didn’t twist this classic even if just a little bit. Dryhopped with a new wave Slovenian hop, Styrian Dragon. Simple to drink, to share, to love.

can @ fehér nyúl webshop (budapest) golden colour, normal body, average carboanted, nice white head, malty, hoppy, decent bitter/sweet ballance, good one

From tap at Élesztő, Budapest, 21.09.25. Clear golden. Diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of pilsner malt and grassy hops. OK.

Nem volna ez rossz, van itt egy kis grapefruitos beutes, es eg jo adag svetly erzet is, de annyira konnyu es sulytalan, hogy ez elegge elrontja az osszhatast.

Draft at Eleszto, Budapest. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt and lager yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, dry yeasty, malt, earthy, herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330 ml can. Unclear golden with a creamy head. Lemon zest, floral notes, grassy, fruity, grainy. Dry grassy zesty bitterness. Medium to light bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry hoppy floral fruity grassy finish. Pretty decent Pils!

Canned 330ml. -from Tesco Budaors, Hungary. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, light grainy herbal nose. Grainy, herbal, bit watery and bitterish finish. All in all drinkable.

Dieses Bier habe ich vor einem Monat in unserem Dienstkühlschrank gestellt, um es auf der Heimfahrt zu genießen...und dann vergessen. Jetzt trinke ich es auf einer freitäglichen Reise nach Břeclav. Es ist ein Pils, aber es fehlen komplett die bitterhopfigen Noten, von grasigen Tönen ganz zu schweigen. Man kann es leicht trinken, aber aromentechnisch hat es mir nicht gepasst.

Pale yellow golden color with medium whit ehed. Aroma of malt, bready notes, noble hops. Taste, starts mzlty, bready notes followed by moderate hoppy finish. Good one.
