Bottle via the brewer - thanks! Hazy amber, stable, tan head. Aroma of biscuit, peanut, red apple, old caramel candy, green tea, pear, yeast. Taste has sweetish apple & pear, sourish berry over a caramelly, biscuity, slightly nutty malt base with a herbal note. Softly herbal hoppy finish, bready, gentle dried fruit. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Decent enough.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear tea amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of caramel malt, and yeast and some spicy hints. Estery and malty aftertaste with acidic touches. Well, drinkable but not much of a pale ale.

Bottle, 5.8%. Malty aroma, hint of brown sugar. Hazy dark amber/light brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is very caramelly with some soy and a sweetish finish from perhaps aroma hops. Also some spicy hops in the flavour. Roasted soy finish. Aftertaste of old paper.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Hazy, golden amber with a quickly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, very yeasty aroma of caramel, honey and some clove. Moderately sweet, malty, rather yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, honey and lots of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not that good.

Bottle shared @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts Beer Festival Day 1. Hazy dark orange to light reddish color with a small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste lightly malts, apple, yeast, slightly a hint of an infection that's growing. Average body and carbonation. Bleh, bad. 5-2-4-2-8.

Thank you for sharing tderock + kraddel! Sampled draft @ Bruges Beer Festival 2017. Deep amber with reddish hue & creamy tanned head and the brewery describes this is as a typical Belgian Pale Ale. I am lost here. Nose is herbal, licorice, medicinal herbs, lightly chemical, caramel, too medicinal herb heavy for me. Taste is herbal caramel, lightly caramel, herbs, kitchen spices,... Body is herbal, caramel, thin, metallic. Too medicinal herb tasting for me, messy, lightly chemical & I am completely lost as far as the style description goes. If dubbel were a style, I would call this a dubbel or more aptly Belgian Dark Ale. Amber Ale even maybe? Dunno, doesn’t matter to be honnest.
