Slightly hazy orange beer, big dense creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: funky, infected, bit dirty, very acidic impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, quite some tannins, metallic touch, sourish. Aftertaste: chemical touch, dry, sourish.

1 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Kevin, Niels & Cynthia! Hazy yellow, thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe passion fruit, mango, mandarin, lychee, cheese, dough. Taste has sweet & sour passion fruit, mango, mandarin, bit grapefruity bitter with an undertone of wheat, lactic & lemon acid. Dryish, tart, fruity finish, lactic acid, virtually no hops, slightly warming alcohol (somewhat wine-like). Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. I might have expected a more experimental brew but refreshing passion fruit was key here, so I'm content with that.

Tasting sample @ BBP in Brussels (visited 13. 12. 2019) F: thin, quick gone. C: shiny pale gold, hazy. A: sour fruity, woody, orange, passion fruits touch, funky of course. T: medium malty base, sour fruity, orange, woody, funky passion fruits touch, nice balanced, refreshing one, enjoyed.

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit and wheat. Flavour is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

07-10-2019 - Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is funky indeed. Brett, passion fruit, bit wheat. Dry, OK. Taste is full, passion fruit. Mild acetic acid. Bit buttery, fruity, tad sweet. Medium-low sourness. Full bodied ( relatively ) . OK at best. -- 7.0/10
Rerate 2021- BLB TTO . By now it evolved far more (and better) . Early on , the keg really tasted like a (nice) lambic. Passionfruit hidden. The later pours (towards the end of the keg) looked a lot darker (orange) with a whole lot of passionfruit. I guess it kinda settled down and started shifting. Both experiences were nice - though totally different - and both deserved a 7.6/5

Draft sample @ BBP Taproom. Keep on going the acidic road trip, almost reaching Hanssens on this one. Léger orange, col blanc. Arôme au nez fruité, de suite marqué par le fruit de la passion - effet de purée, rétro de grains et qcq notes vertes houblonnées plutôt discrètes. Passion dominant avec une composante grains qui ressort bien. Palais met, effectivement, du fruit de la passion au devant sous couvert de qcq pointes de brett et funk, la barrique est très discrète. Le fruité donne une impression de purée. Malheureusement, je peine à trouver l'effet BA ici, si ce n'est un côté vinaigre qui suit la progression de la Red Eyes et de la Wendigo - aucun élément boisé -et une du lacto qui dénature le tout. Fini est moyen et assez monodimensionnel.
