Old rating - 330ml bottle from JB's Brewhouse in Jersey. Pours amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of orange, citrus, coriander & hints of spices. Medium body. Sweet slightly spicy finish. Highly enjoyable

On tap @ Brus, Oslo. Unclear golden body with a moderate sized off-white head. Aroma is slightly ripe fruit, oranges, spices and smooth malt. Rather sweet flavor with soft pale malt, dry fruit, oranges, spices, moderate bitterness and hint of warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Nice, tasty and gives a great Christmas feeling, but don’t think this will match any food, best alone after food probably. Like it a lot.

From tap at Uiltje Bar, Haarlem. Aroma is heavily spicy, cardamom, coriander, malt, touch of dried fruit, ’winter spices’. Not much yeast for a Tripel. Flavour is medium sweet and only lightly bitter. Medium bodied. Well-made I suppose, but too heavily spiced for my taste.

Bottled. Slightly hazy golden colour with small creamy white head. Aroma is spices, zest, some yeast and mild sweet malts. Flavour is sweet malts, some spruce, mild spices, yeast and some alcohol to it as well. OK, but once it gets closer to room temperature the alcohol pushes through a bit too evidently.

Bottle from the brewery Webshop, drunk after a nice Pizza Salmone. Lightly hazy amber, medium head. Very Christmassy spice mix on the aromatics side of things. Flavor is a savory-bitter spice bouquet on the tongue, a wee bit medicinal. It's not too sweet as tripel sometimes can be. Very present hop and/or spice bitterness on the finish. Interesting for sure, though I'd not drink several in a row.

75cl from Føtex. Pours hazy yellow with a White head. Coriander, cinnamon and orange peel. Full bodied. One dimensional spicy.

Bottle, 8.0%. Fruity aroma, more like tangerine to me than orange peel. Almost clear golden colour. The flavour is fruity with a cidery and bitter note as from fermented white sugar. Rough bitterness in the finish. There is also some residual sweetness and a creamy note. The spices are quite subtle, but the finish is a little spicy.
