Can from a local bottle shop. Aroma is grainy pale malt with soft yeasty notes, bread, some floral and fruity notes, not much else. Flavour is sweetish with a light bitterness. Light to medium body. Bland.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of soggy grains, a bit floral with a touch of peach, but also a touch artificial. Taste is bittersweet with a faint tartness towards the end. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Calls itself refreshing, but fails to be. Never comes together. Below average.

5.8% ABV version Medium, dense & stable yellowish head, fed by fine carbonation in hazy orangey golden beer. Sweet malts, bit grassy and herbal aromas. Bitterish - mild but present at the onset, then sweeter malts and grains. Faint herbal and greenery flavours, sweet herbs; laurel/bay leaf, strengthening warming up, and the appearance of a light acidity. Light body, good carbonation, bit gristslick. Nothing special, and nothing wrong either. Wondering what Debbie Harry would think of that...

On tap at Brouwerij ‘t IJ Proeflokaal, Amsterdam on 24th November 2023. Golden amber with white foam affording full lacing. Spicy, pungent and hoppy aroma and liquid pass. A finish of citruses, earthy spices and sweet fruits. Light body and a zingy mouthfeel. Pleasant.
