Draft at Borefts 2016, Day 2. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, toffee, tart overripe dark fruit and light funk. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. [24-09-2016]

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, black chocolate, a bit chalky. Taste is fruity, black, some phenols. Medium carbonation. Quite good, but a bit too phenolic in the finish for me.

Bottle, 10%. Black with giant beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, yeast, chocolate, notes of berries, caramel and hop. Flavour is roasted malt, yeast, caramel, chocolate, notes of berries, medium sweet, hop, notes of liquorice and a little bitter.

End April/begin May 2016 (forgot to write down the exact date) @home, 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte. Black colour with huge rocky tanned head. Nose is full on roast and coffee. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, hints of dark chocolate, boozy.

Alvinne Mano Negra 10% Imperial Stout from Belgium Big yeasty roasty banana and chocolate aroma with a touch of smoke. The taste is smoked peat and bitter dark chocolate, really up there 90% cacao. The finish is a bit sweet. This is dark bittersweet smokey stuff. Really nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
