Bottle from Etre Gourmete. Brown liquid with a firm offwhite head. Probably an infected bottle (again). Sour, bretty with herbal and grassy bouquet, some spices, cloves, odd bananas and cellar. Mildly sour, cloves and fermented bananas. Drinkable but not nice.

Sampled 330 ml. swing-top bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Dark brown amber, small mocha head. Nose is weird fish guts, pecan & sugar. Massive DE-style fish guts, kitchen spices, herbal, bay leaf, some oxidation,… Thinned out, bit oxidized fish guts body. Tastes like an old bock with kitchen spices,… Way off from what it was meant to be, weird,… BFM has the BFM Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien series which is simply brilliant but otherwise?

33 cl fliptop bottle. Pours dark, even opaque, brown. Aroma of sour old wine barrels. Very BFM. Med body. Flavor is red berry and medium dark fruits, with "musty" oak. Sour treacle, if such could actually be. I think it can. Sour treacle with oak, red berries and more. Amazing stuff, and IMHO incredibly under rated.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Dark brown with a medium head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, chocolate, light spices and caramel. The body was almost full and the finish quite long. A descent one.

Deep brown tot black body. Off-white creamy head. Light caramel nose, with hops. Not what I expected judging from the looks. Moderately sweet, grapes, yet slightly bitter. Decent, but somewhat odd.

Draught @ Ginger Man. Opaque dark brown with small beige foamy head, spicy honey aroma, low carbonation, thin body, spicy caramel taste (cinnamon, nutmeg?), long finish. Interesting spicy brew.
