Our Golden Gate Gose is a special draft-only beer inspired by the classic wheat beer hailing from Leipzig, Germany. Traditionally brewed with salt and coriander, our tart California-inspired version is brewed with San Francisco Bay sea salt, lemon verbena and coriander grown especially for us by Dirty Girl Produce in Santa Cruz, California. Fermented with our house saison yeast, this delicate and tart beer is a perfect summer refresher. Pair with fresh seafood and sunshine.

Golden color, steady white head. Wheaty, coriander in the aroma. A bit lemony. Light to medium-bodied. Harsh, tart, spicey with coriander and saison yeasty flavor. Lemony-acidic but not much salty. More like Saison than Gose.

65 cl bottle @ oh6gdx. Batch 1120, bottled 04.??.2014. Aroma has somewhat fruity tones, salt and sour cream. Also apricot. Flavour has somewhat aggressive sourness with sour cream, some green apples and some citrus. Finishes salty.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour, small foamy head. Aroma is yeasty, herbal, some floral notes and mild sour berries to it as well. Flavour is fruity, herbal, some toffee and quite funky notes.Not a Gose, but rather a Saison...

Draft @ Hoppy Loft. Dorée-paille, sur un léger trouble, col blanc épais. Arôme offre un bouquet agréable tirant sur un salin modéré avec une petite note beurre e de citronné vert en rétro. Le tout porte un profil suret léger. Palais est léger sur un profil grains prononcé rappelant un sour mash, le tout sur un léger côté minéral qui offre une certaine complexité saline complétée par un fini citronné ajoutant une fine pointe de note aigrelette. Profil reste assez sec avec un possible côté houblonné ajoutant des notes feuilles-fruités verts de citron/noble. Base malt de pils et cara mais dont le minéral, typique de ce style reste assez discret pour une Gose.

22 fl oz bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Yellow golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of wheat & lemon-lime. Taste is tangy, wheaty, with sour fruity lemon citric rind, plus salty, coriander & hay notes. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry sour finish. Refreshing, very drinkable.

Aroma of yeast, pears, apples, grass, barnyard, salt, sour dried fruits.
Taste is pleasantly sour and tart, with dough, salt, green apples, sour pears, sour berries, honey, some barnyard.
Quite light mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes sour, quite tart, pretty salty, sour-fruity and with subtle, long-lasting honey notes.
Tasty! One of the best Gose beers I’ve had so far. Especially the taste is very enjoyable and although pretty tart, still very well balanced. Very refreshing!
