Sampled @ Pint Winterbierfestival Gouda, 2016. Lightly unclear orange brown color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, grainy, slightly buttery, nuts, chestnut, malt bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation. Drinkable.

Thank you for sharing people! Sampled draft @ “Gouda Winterbier Festival 2016”. Red dark amber with an off-white head. Nose is sweet herbal, overly sticky. Taste is spoiled herbs, cloying herbs, touch watery, sugar & toffee. Watery, low carbonation. Not that good.

Bottle sampled at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Hazy reddish brown with light beige head. Sweet malts, caramel, light milk chocolate, toffee, some vanilla. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel. Decent.

On tap at Winterbierfestival Gouda 2016. Clear, brownish amber. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, nuts, juniper and some honey. Sweetish-malty taste of honey, caramel, nuts and juniper, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Okay.

Tap sample at PINT Winterbierfestival ’16. Murky brown colour, thin beige head. Aroma of sweet cloying but also watery malt, fake chocolate, hint of cedar wood, light fruity. Flavour is medium sweet, thin, cedar wood, chocolate, light fruity, watery. Light bodied. Not very good.
