Our Street Series of IPAs pays homage to our home, Boston's Fort Point neighborhood. Each entry in the series maintains the same distinctive grist bill and bittering hop addition, offering a clean and soft backbone for a singular dry-hop varietal to take the lead. Summer Street highlights Simcoe, the Pacific Northwest varietal largely responsible for the recent explosion of aromatic hop-breeding in the US. Pouring a beautiful light orange with a gentle, glowing haze, our treatment of Simcoe results in tactfully balanced aromatics featuring notes of grapefruit zest, spicy pine, candied lemon, and white grape. The front of the palate is greeted with an intense citrus juice character that eases its way into a well-structured and nuanced resinous bitterness. Dry, crisp, and medium-bodied, Summer Street straddles the line between a New England and West Coast IPA drinking experience.

Pours the usual hazy, fresh-squeezed-orange-juice color, with smallish head. Aroma has a lot of citrus as well as piney hops. Flavor is very smooth with citrus and pine accents abounding. Very soft mouthfeel. Bitter finish.

Summer street ipa 7.7% can Super cloudy gold with an orange tint and a big fruity juicy dense hop bouquet. Medium bodied with a sharp carbonation and dry finish. Bright juicy tropical hoppiness and dry wheat cracker malts. Excellent. My favorite Trillium I tried but could be I was in a great mood after a fun all tasting session plus I’m a sucker for seasonals.

Keg at Omnipollos Hatt, Stockholm. Cloudy pale golden, small head. Rich aroma of passionfruit and pears. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Tropical fruit juice dominates - passionfruit and mango. Mid bitter finish with mild notes of white pepper. Pleasant modern IPA. Edgeless, albeit superficial.

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours hazy deep yellow with a frothy white head that leaves some sparse soapy trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and slightly grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, blackberries, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, tiny bitter, slightly fruity and grassy. mouthfeel is soft, slightly dry and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with crackers, grapefruit, blackberries and frozen green peas. Decent but I really don’t like the green pea green hop character and I’m not a huge fan of the blackberry fruit character either. --- Beer merged from original tick of Summer Street on 04 Apr 2016 at 22:28 - Score: 7. 750 ml bottle spilt by Brian, thanks Willrunforbeer, love this brewery! Bottled on 2/23/2016. Slightly hazy, bright golden color. Aroma is huge citrus hops, limes, lemons and mild oranges. Super bright!
< br> The flavor shows the same massive citrus as the aroma. Layers of hops. Grapefruit pith, oranges, lemon zest, and some light pine. Also displays mild traces of grassy hops after the swallow. Bitterness is moderate with just enough malt backbone. Pretty nice wheat element as well.

Honesty I always wonder the bottle dates and freshness of samples that other people sample. Because honestly this is really damn nice. I love this.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Citrus and resin aromas. Soft with lemon, pine and yeasty fruit upfront turning to resin in the lasting finish.

Thanks to tderoeck! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ “Tim’s orgasmic Trillium tasting”. Bottle should be from July. Very hazy orange, big creamy white head. Nose is sweetish dough, white bread, yeasty base as with the other Trillium beers, the whole is combined with exotic hop notes, passionfruit, nice mellow hops. Mix of sweetish yeast & exotic hops works rather well. Taste is interesting, floral bitterness upfront, rather yeasty, dough, white bread, light exotic hop notes in the finish. Nice but the white bread, yeast notes dominates a bit too much for me (as they do in the body). Decent but easily the weakest of the Trillium beers that I have tried so far.
