The culprit behind the Salem Witch Trials was not the demonic possession (which would have been kind of cool), but ergot infected rye. The rye malt and aromatic hops in this beer aren't likely to transform you into a witch, but maybe they'll inspire you to think about your own transformation - perhaps into an individual; a free thinker; someone who speaks their mind and follows their dreams. Personally, we'd go with transforming into an army of flying viking bears, but what do we know?
Ingredients: hill country well water, malted barley, malted rye, hops, farmhouse, yeast, native yeast and souring bacteria from the Texas hill country.
Admin Note: In November 2013 Jester King began brewing this beer using indigenous wild yeast and souring bacteria. All bottles from Batch 9 onward should be under this rating.
Last time released was Batch 19 in spring of 2020.

Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ ACBF 2015. Hazy orange, little head. Nose is huge lemon, citrus, lemon, peel zest sour mixed with delicious fruity hops. Taste is lemon, hay, funk, lots of hops, funk, crazily drinkable, in part thanks to the sourness. Outstanding beer. Really loved it. (Thanks for sharing people!!!)

75cl bottle sample @ ACBF 2015.

Bottle. Hoppy nose, lemon, grapefruit, orange, funk, cream. Sweet biscuity malt, mango, apricot, oranges, nicely spice. The fruity sweetness hangs just below the funk and bitterness and is very enjoyable. Excellent.
