On tap at the brewery in Brugge. Hazy brown red colour lasting beige head. Malty aroma. Some Flemish sour fruit character. Biscuit malt. A litte sweet maybe. But an excellent first beer of the day. Some green apple. Fine if a little rustic.

Bab 2016. Thnx to Tderoeck and 77ships for sharing the beers ! Pours rather clear, dark brown, OK white head. Smell is bit roasty, taste is sharp, bit roasty, some sweetness. Dark chocolate. not bad, to my big surprise.Got to be the first Anthony Martin beer I actually appreciate.

Thank you for sharing kraddel + tderock + Rubin77! Sampled draft @ Bruges Beer Festival 2017. Dark red brown, patchy tanned head. Nose is vinegar, oaky, lactic with malt sugar & some butter. Taste is oily glue, sweet sugar, faint butter, furniture oak, weak sugar,... Messy, too much sugary sweetness plus butter notes. Body is weak almost watery with sugar. BA version was vastly preferable since the wine masked pretty much everything & totally dominated.

Clear reddish brown beer, irregular creamy bubbly beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: caramel, overripe banana, speculoos, sweet, some lactose, buttery, diacetyl detected. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sweet, lots of lactose, caramel, some banana, more ripe banana. Aftertaste: lactose, butter scotch, buttery, diacetyl. Don't like.

Draught Very good and dense double cream head, not very stable but very clinging, over beautiful clear deep-ruby beer. RIch (already) estery nose, roasted and vinous. Very attractive, completely different from the bottled BdF. More roasted, more classical sweetish-bitter flavour. Retronasal quite bitter, roasted and a bit hoppy. Marzipan in the aftertaste. Creamy MF, not very carbonated. Taste is a bit plainer than expected, but the nose is great and promising.
